Island Mountain Development Group (IMDG) released its 2023 Economic Contribution of the Island Mountain Development Group study today.
The study shows IMDG’s efforts since 2016 to create jobs for Fort Belknap tribal members on and off the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. As a result of IMDG’s successful business efforts, IMDG created a positive business environment in Montana’s northcentral region and the Billings, Montana, area.
According to the study, IMDG significantly impacts regional households, businesses, and governments. IMDG created about 1,170 jobs and generated $96.3 million in labor income. Overall, IMDG added $132.3 million in value to the north-central region of Montana.
