On August 27, 2024, Island Mountain Development Group (IMDG) distributed 3,200 pounds of beef to the Wathato Senior Center in Dodson and the Hays, Agency, and Lodgepole Senior Citizen Centers.
Each center received a whole beef with hamburger, ribs, steaks, roasts, stew meat, and other beef cuts.
IMDG bought four livestock for the beef from the 4-H Lucky Charms members Roan Ereaux, Kataya Flansburg, Tissie Webb, and Alissa Whitford.
IMDG donated $965 to process ground beef for the Fort Belknap Elders Helping Elders group.
